Before you read this, you really have to check out the photos of the wedding that Best Day Ever has posted. They really are amazing! Really captured the beauty and fun of the day. Check them out in the post below!
The Happiest Bride on the Block contest seems, to me, to be a great exercise in generosity. I'm not saying that about myself, but about all the vendors and people involved who gave their time and effort to make this thing happen. There were people who just days before the wedding volunteered to help out. One of them in particular, I should mention, was Mike Leporati, a fellow videographer/photographer who really made the wedding video possible, and an all around good guy. He was really a great guy to work with, and together we really got more footage than I could ever hope to put into a reasonable video.
Many thanks to all involved. Grateful to all who helped, all the vendors (please view the vendors' page and see who all made this day possible). The food was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing--and it's all thanks to the generosity of over 20 local vendors, and many loved ones within our circle. Many thanks, also, to You Won't and The Oh Hellos, two fantastic bands who graciously allowed us to use their music.
Such a joy to be able to make this couple's day; I hope the video and the pictures really communicate what a thrill that day was.

Let's get together for . . . the big finale
Like we said on our Best Day Ever blog, this was a surreal experience, and we wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. If you ever want to get the warm fuzzies to the max than we highly suggest you be a part of something like this. Katie and Kyle were beyond thankful and honestly that was the best part of the night- to hear everyone telling their stories of how they wrangled up votes, and thanking us left and right for putting it all together.
Of course, the whole event could never have been possible without the amazing vendors who graciously gifting EVERYTHING, so if you see something in the photos or video that you just have to have for your wedding go check out our A+ Vendors page to get in touch with these amazing people- they will knock your socks off!
Below are a few of the photos from the wedding Be sure to check out our blog post over at Best Day Ever's Blog to see the full event!

Let's get together for . . . Roadtrip Photos
As Adam has mentioned below, this trip was surely a long time coming. It took six months to plan it all out, but part of that was due to everything else going on in our lives. The end result was beyond any of our expectations though. Now a year later, when I look at these photos, all I want to do is hop in the car and do it all over again.
Last summer Aaron and I finally, after five years of marriage, were able to go on our honeymoon. We had originally been given a timeshare trip to Hawaii, but neither of us really felt like spending $2k to get there, so we decided to spend that money on a trip across our beautiful country- something I had never done before (Aaron had done it a few times when he was a teenager). We were able to transfer our timeshare credit to a beautiful little place in Midway, Utah, a small little town in between the most beautiful snow capped mountains.
Adam and Jenn met up with us about ten days into our trip, and the day after they arrived we all piled into their little Toyota and headed on one crazy, winding, windy, and sometimes never-ending car ride home. The photos below are only a portion of what we captured. We were gone for three weeks.
This one one of the best trips I've ever taken :)
